March asked me to slow down my thinking.

To notice the sentences that form.
To allow questions.
To hold more than one interpretation.
To stay open a little longer.

April feels different.

Less about understanding.
More about caring for what is already here.

Not everything needs to be figured out.

Some things need to be tended.

There are parts of life that don’t ask for clarity first.

They ask for attention.

A conversation that hasn’t been returned to.
A piece of work that needs steady effort.
A routine that has drifted slightly out of place.
A feeling that hasn’t been acknowledged yet.

These things don’t demand urgency.

They remain at the edges — quiet, persistent.

Easy to move past.

I’ve been noticing how often I wait for a moment to feel resolved before I give it care.

But tending doesn’t work that way.

It begins before things are clear.

Sometimes, it is the act of tending that brings clarity.

This month, I’m paying attention to what requires care.

Not all at once.
Not perfectly.

Just noticing what is asking for a little more presence — and responding to it, gently.

Each week moves through a different way of tending:

Week 1: What Needs Care
Week 2: Daily Attention
Week 3: Adjusting Gently
Week 4: Tending Without Forcing

We’ll move through these slowly, one week at a time.
