Lately, I’ve been noticing how quickly I move past what I feel.

Not intentionally.

Just… quickly.

A slight tension, and I shift my posture.
A moment of restlessness, and I reach for something to do.
A quiet sense of fatigue, and I move on anyway.

This week, I’m paying attention to that.

Not trying to interpret it.
Not trying to fix it.

Just noticing what is already there —
before I respond to it.

Listening to the body is different from reflecting on it.

It doesn’t ask why.
It doesn’t move toward meaning immediately.

It stays closer to the surface.

A feeling in the shoulders.
A pause in the breath.
A sense of ease that wasn’t there before.

Not everything needs to be understood right away.

Some things become clearer
when they are simply noticed —
and left as they are.

🪶 This week, I’m exploring:

What is already present, before I try to respond to it.

✨ Prompts

  • Where do I feel tension in my body right now, without trying to change it?
  • What does my energy feel like at the start of the day — before I shape it?
  • When do I notice a shift in my body during the day?
  • What feels different when I pause, even briefly, to notice what I’m feeling?
  • Where does ease show up, even in small ways?
  • What happens when I stay with a sensation instead of moving past it?
  • What is my body noticing that I haven’t put into words yet?

I’m not trying to respond to everything I notice.

Just listening a little longer than I usually would.
